SURVIVOR SERIES, Year 3

Match 1. Elimination Tag - APA and Rikishi vs. Natural Born Thrillers and Tazz
Sean O'Haire received a Rikishi Driver and was the first eliminated. Tazz hit Faarooq with the Tazz-plex. He then locked in the Tazzmission. Faarooq landed a double ax handle on Palumbo and eliminated him. Tazz didn't last much longer after Bradshaw landed a powerbomb.

Match 2. Christian vs. Rhyno   WWF Intercontinental and WCW United States championships
This is a unification match. Christian landed a swinging neck breaker and flapjack. He later hit another neck breaker leading to the Unprettier and the win. It lasted about seven minutes.

Match 3. Elimination Tag - RVD, Booker T and Kurt Angle vs. Edge, Mark Henry and Benoit
About five minutes into the match, all hell broke loose. All six men were fighting in and out of the ring. Edge was going for a top-rope spear, but Booker shoved him off. Booker speared Benoit through the barricade. Booker hit the scissors kick and eliminated Edge. Booker eliminated Benoit after RVD held him on his shoulders and Booker landed a diving shoulder tackle. It came down to Henry. The three Alliance members worked over Henry on the outside. RVD landed two bulldogs and got the win.

Match 4. Brothers of Destruction vs. The Dudley Boyz   WWF and WCW Tag Team championships
Another unification title match; this time it's an elimination tables match. There were three tables set up in the ring. Kane chokeslammed Bubba from the top rope, but barely missed the table. Kane speared Bubba through the barricade. D-Von suplexed Taker through a table. The Dudleyz were playing with Kane, tormenting him. Kane kept dodging their attempts to put him through a table, though. Kane chokeslammed Bubba from the top and it looked like he went through a table, but apparently not. D-Von landed a diving fist drop on Kane and put him through the table.

Match 5. Stone Cold vs. Diamond Dallas Page
DDP landed a neck breaker and a huge sit-out powerbomb. Austin came back and busted DDP open with a bulldog. Later, Austin hit the Stunner. DDP came back and hit the Diamond Cutter less than a minute later and won.

Match 6. Chris Jericho vs. The Rock   WCW Championship
There was a pinning battle very in the match. I thought both men had the match won. Rock landed a float-over DDT and Samoan drop. Jericho locked in the Walls of Jericho. After a northern lights suplex, Jericho got the three count.

Main Event. Big Show vs. Triple H   WWF Championship
There were a lot of reversals in the early part of the match. Big Show landed a tilt-a-whirl slam and back body drop. Triple H hit the spine buster and Pedigree, but Show kicked out. He then drove his knee across Show's face, busting him open. Triple H continued with a string of moves—DDT, knee smash and Pedigree to win the WWF title

Recap: This was one of the longest PPVs I've had to watch. The elimination matches took forever. The Dudleyz are once again tag champs.
