September Week 2, Year 4

Scott Hall and X-Pac have been released. Rikishi and Tazz were released last week.

Raw
Match 1. Chris Benoit vs. William Regal

Match 2. Booker T and Goldust vs. Batista and Ric Flair
Both teams beat down their opponents with tag moves. All four then fought outside the ring. Flair took down Booker with a chop block. Flair, later, hit Booker with two running clotheslines and got the win.

Match 3. Christian vs. Shelton Benjamin
During the match, this big, tattooed man attacked Shelton. Wait, that's Tyson Tomko. Christian's been talking about him. 

Match 4. Scott Steiner vs. Triple H
Triple H landed a DDT and an atomic drop. He later hit a neck breaker and another DDT. Steiner caught Triple H with an overhead belly-to-belly. He got the three count as his feet were on the second rope.

After the match, Steiner checked on Triple H, but he was low blowed.

Main Event. Goldberg vs. Shawn Michaels
Goldberg hit Michaels with a swinging neck breaker. He then took Michaels down with a hip toss. Michaels came back with the Sweet Chin Music. A few minutes later, Goldberg connected with the Jackhammer and won.

SmackDown
Match 1. JBL vs. Edge
Edge attempted the spear multiple times, but JBL kept getting up. Edge focused on the left leg of JBL. Bradshaw recovered and hit the powerbomb. Edge landed a flapjack and busted JBL open. He then hit the spear and an Edge-O-Matic before getting the win.

Match 2. Hurricane and Billy Gunn vs. Matt Hardy and Rhyno

Match 3. Los Guerreros vs. Matt Morgan and Big Show

Match 4. Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Henry
Lesnar tried to lift up Henry, but it was countered into a back breaker. Lesnar came back and easily hit the F5. Henry hit a tilt-a-whirl slam. Lesnar got up and landed a release German suplex. Henry caught Lesnar in the air and hit the World's Strongest Slam.

After the match, Henry grabbed a chair and went to shatter Lesnar's ankle. Tajiri returned and saved Lesnar.

Main Event. Hulk Hogan vs. The Rock vs. Kurt Angle
Hogan and Angle hit Rock with two double gut busters. Later, Hogan took Rock down and hit the leg drop. Two minutes later, Rock put Angle through the announce table with a Rock Bottom. Hogan stood in the ring and watched as Rock clotheslined Angle and got the win.

After the match, Hogan and Rock shook hands.

Recap: SmackDown is yet again the better show.
