September Week 4, Year 4

Unforgiven is this Sunday, the first single-branded PPV. There are some interesting matches on SmackDown.

Raw
Match 1. Goldust vs. William Regal

Match 2. Chris Benoit vs. Randy Orton
Orton landed a back suplex and a Lou Thesz Press. He then hit a scoop slam and the RKO. Benoit came back with the triple German suplexes. Orton kicked out. He stomped all over Benoit. He then hit another scoop slam and a Death Valley Driver to win.

Match 3. Hell in a Cell - Christian vs. RVD
Last week, there was a submission and Iron Man match. This week, there's a Hell in a Cell. Why? Christian slammed RVD's head into the cell and then dropkicked him against it. RVD blocked a punch and hit the super kick. Back in the ring, Christian connected with the Unprettier and won.

Match 4. Stone Cold vs. Batista
During the match, Scott Steiner ran down and hit Batista with a huge belly-to-belly suplex to give Austin the win.

Main Event. Kane vs. Goldberg vs. Chris Jericho   #1 Contender's match
Kane and Goldberg hit Jericho with a double chokeslam. All three men ended up on the outside. Kane hit Goldberg with a sidewalk slam. Kane landed the Tombstone on Goldberg and Jericho went for a pin, but Kane broke it up. Kane took both men down and pinned Goldberg.

SmackDown
Match 1. Hurricane vs. Chavo Guerrero

Match 2. Matt Morgan and Big Show vs. Edge and Rey Mysterio
Matt Morgan threw Big Show into Edge, who was resting in the corner. Rey hit Morgan with a heel kick. Morgan and Show then began working over Rey. Morgan hit Rey with a huge back breaker. He then went for the bicycle kick, but Rey blocked it. Tajiri interfered and attacked Show. Rey landed a tornado DDT on Morgan and won.

Match 3. Eddie Guerrero vs. JBL vs. John Cena   #1 Contender's match
The winner will most likely challenge Mark Henry for the US title at a later date. Cena busted JBL open when he slammed his head against the steel post. Eddie went to put JBL through the announce table with an elbow drop, but Bradshaw moved. Cena hit Eddie with an FU. Cena left the ring as JBL hit Eddie with a Clothesline from Hell to win.

Match 4. The Rock and Tajiri vs. Kurt Angle and Spike Dudley

Main Event. Table - Undertaker vs. Mark Henry
There were a couple of early attempts at table smashing, but no success. Taker tried to lift Henry up, but he countered into a back breaker. Taker landed the Tombstone on the outside. Back in the ring, Henry wore down Taker with a bear hug. Taker climbed to the top and elbow dropped Henry through a table.

After the match, Matt Morgan and Big Show appeared at the top of the ramp.

Recap: Kane will challenge Triple H. He may also have to defend his tag titles with RVD. It looks like it will be Christian vs. Chris Benoit again.
