August Week 2, Year 4


Raw
Match 1Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven   WWE Hardcore Championship

Match 2. Chris Benoit vs. Shelton Benjamin

Match 3. Batista vs. Booker T
Booker landed the scissors kick, but Batista kicked out. Batista hit a tilt-a-whirl slam. Booker came back with a back breaker and heel kick. He then hit a spine buster and Book End to win.

Match 4. Shawn Michaels vs. Kevin Nash vs. Chris Jericho vs. Stone Cold
Nash elbow dropped Jericho through the announce table. Austin went to hit Michaels with a Stunner, but it was blocked and Michaels hit the Sweet Chin Music. Nash later hit Jericho with a Jackknife. Hall ran down and distracted the ref. Nash scored the pin on Jericho after a huge hip toss.

Main Event. Kane and RVD vs. Scott Hall and X-Pac
Pac and Hall worked over the Big, Red Machine. RVD and Kane later beat down Hall on the outside. RVD hit Pac with rolling senton through the announce table. RVD hit Hall with the same move in the ring. RVD then won the match with a super kick to Pac.

SmackDown
Match 1. Hurricane vs. Spike Dudley

Match 2. JBL vs. Randy Orton
Orton took apart the announce table and then busted JBL open with multiple right hands. Orton then placed JBL on the table. Bradshaw countered and put Orton through it with a powerbomb. Orton recovered and hit the RKO a couple of minutes later to win.

Match 3. Matt Hardy vs. Billy Kidman

Match 4. Dudley Boyz vs. Edge and Rey Mysterio
Bubba hit Rey with the Bionic Elbow and then the Dudleyz hit the Wassup headbutt. Edge and Rey began building momentum with an STO/springboard dropkick combo. Bubba recovered and hit Edge with the Bionic Elbow. D-Von came in and hit the Saving Grace DDT to win.

Main Event. John Cena vs. Undertaker
Taker drove his knee across Cena's face, busting him open. Cena hit Taker with the Five-Knuckle Shuffle and the FU, but Taker kicked out. Taker immediately hit the Tombstone. Cena busted Taker open with a Lou Thesz Press and some punches. He hit a second Five-Knuckle Shuffle. Taker got up again, hit another Tombstone and won.

Recap: Apparently, Tajiri is injured. SmackDown is definitely better. They have a balance of cruiserweights, tag teams and main eventers.
