April Week 1, Year 4

It's time for the draft. The new rosters will go into effect this week. The WWF title and tag titles will be defended on both shows. There will be a tournament to crown a new secondary champion for SmackDown, culminating at Backlash. No more Saturday Night Heat, either.

Raw

Match 1. Christian vs. X-Pac

Match 2. Brothers of Destruction vs. Natural Born Thrillers
During the match, Lesnar ran down and hit both Kane and Undertaker with F5s. The Natural Born Thrillers were in control after that. After a double back body drop, O'Haire choked Kane in the tree of woe then won.

Match 3. William Regal vs. Stevie Richards vs. Raven

Match 4. Last Man Standing - Kurt Angle vs. Hollywood Hogan

I guess Angle has some unfinished business before going to SmackDown. Austin was sitting in the front row, even though his match is next. Angle landed the triple German suplexes and Angle Slam. Hogan won after a body slam and leg drop.

After the match, Kevin Nash and...X-Pac ran down. All three men beat down Angle.

Main Event. Stone Cold vs. Kevin Nash

Nash ran down and landed a Lou Thesz Press before the bell rang. Austin hit a spine buster, but Nash blocked the Stunner attempt and hit the Jackknife. He hit another Jackknife a few minutes later and won.

After the match, Nash grabbed a chair and hit Austin.

SmackDown

Match 1. Matt Hardy vs. Billy Kidman vs. Chavo Guerrero

Match 2. Round 1 - Rhyno vs. Mark Henry

Match 3. The Rock vs. Kurt Angle
Angle hit the Angle Slam, but got a one count. He then hit the triple German suplexes. Rock came back with a spine buster and Rock Bottom to win.

Match 4. Round 1 - Booker T vs. Rob Van Dam

Rhyno attacked RVD from behind. RVD missed a heel kick and Booker landed a back suplex. Booker had RVD up for a powerbomb, but it was countered into a hurricanrana. Booker came back with the scissors kick and won.

After the match, Booker and RVD shook hands.

Main Event. Edge vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. Big Show

Eddie hit Edge with a bulldog and Show immediately grabbed Eddie for the Showstopper. Eddie busted both Big Show and Edge open. Eddie hit Edge with a second Gory Bomb and Show covered Edge to win.
