ROYAL RUMBLE, Year 3

Who will survive 29 other Superstars on their way to WrestleMania?

Match 1. Hurricane vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. X-Pac vs. Billy Kidman
A minute into the match, Hurricane jumped from the top rope onto Kidman and through the announce table. All four men were on the outside when Hurricane hit the Eye of the Hurricane. Kidman was able to regain his composure. Chavo hit Pac with a sit-out powerbomb. Chavo speared Pac through the barricade. Kidman forced Helms to tap from a camel clutch.

Match 2. Dudley Boyz vs. APA   WWF Tag Team Championship
Bradshaw and D-Von battled on the outside. Later, the Dudleyz landed the Wassup headbutt on Bradshaw. D-Von went for a powerbomb, but Faarooq countered it. Faarooq then hit the Dominator and got the win.

Match 3. William Regal vs. Val Venis   WWF European Championship
Regal busted Val open by stomping across his face. Val landed a half nelson suplex and a Big Package suplex. Regal hit a rolling senton and double underhook powerbomb. After kicking out, Regal hit Val with a shoulder block to retain.

Match 4. RVD vs. Christian vs. Chris Jericho   WWF Intercontinental Championship
Christian busted Jericho open with a jaw breaker (huh?). Christian and Jericho hit RVD with a leg sweep/STO combo. Jericho superplexed Christian from the top to the outside.Christian landed a flapjack and frog splash on RVD. RVD landed the Van Terminator. Jericho hit RVD with a clothesline in the corner and won.

Match 5. Last Man Standing - Undertaker vs. Big Show
Taker landed a Tombstone, but Big Show got up at the count of four. Taker took apart the announce table. He later DDT'd Show through it and busting him open. Taker hit a side slam, but Big Show got up. Taker laid Show on the apron. He then landed a huge leg drop and won.

Match 6. Triple H vs. Kurt Angle   WWF Undisputed Championship
Triple H clubbed Angle's chest with his forearm. He then landed a knee smash. After a one count, Triple H landed the Pedigree. Angle reversed Triple H'd figure four, but Triple H immediately landed another Pedigree to win.

Main Event. 30-Man Royal Rumble
The first two Superstars were Kane and Test. The third Royal Rumble is under way. Chris Benoit was No. 3. Kane had Test against the ropes, but he fought back. Test had Kane in the corner, but to no avail. Chris Jericho was No. 4. Jericho won the IC title not too long ago. Kane almost eliminated Benoit. Chuck Palumbo was No. 5. He went after Test and almost tossed him out. Hurricane was No. 6. Palumbo clotheslined Test out of the ring. Jericho landed a delayed suplex on Kane. Chavo Guerrero was No. 7. Chavo and Hurricane fought in the opening match. Palumbo eliminated Hurricane. Kane landed a big boot on Jericho and eliminated him. Kane then almost tossed out Benoit. Kane busted Benoit open with a DDT. Edge was No. 8. Kane lifted Benoit up and slammed him onto the floor. Mark Henry was No. 9. He will be tough to eliminate. The Rock was No. 10. Kane eliminated Chavo. Henry eliminated Palumbo. Rock went right after Henry. Edge was eliminated by Kane.

Stone Cold was No. 11. Wow. This is a lot of star power. Rock hit Henry with a Samoan drop. Kane was working over Austin in the corner. Undertaker was No. 12. He won the rumble last year. Taker just watched and picked his spots. X-Pac was No. 13. Henry lifted Taker over his head and eliminated him. He then tossed out Austin. Pac somehow eliminated Kane. Henry hit Rock with a torture rack slam. DDP was No. 14. Rock hit Pac with a Samoan drop. Goldust was No. 15. Rock was eliminated by Pac. Henry eliminated DDP. This doesn't look good for the second half of the match. Goldust kicked Pac off of the apron. Rikishi was No. 16. Rikishi and Henry focused on Goldust. Matt Hardy was No. 17. Henry hit Goldust with a fall away slam. Big Show was No. 18. He could win this. Henry eliminated Goldust. Henry, Rikishi and Big Show. That's a lot of weight. Henry made quick work as he kicked Big Show in the head for the elimination. Billy Gunn was No. 19. Matt almost tossed Rikishi out. Henry took care of that. Booker T was No. 20. Henry hit Booker with a back suplex and then held him against the ropes, but he fought back.

Bubba Ray was No. 21. Gunn eliminated Matt. Henry clotheslined Booker out of the match. That's his eighth elimination. Bubba almost eliminated Gunn. D-Von was No. 22. Could we see a Royal Rumble 3D? Bubba dropkicked Henry, but he held on. Henry flipped D-Von over the top. That's nine. Rob Van Dam was No. 23. Gunn kicked Henry in the head, eliminating him in the process. Wow. What a performance. Bubba tossed RVD out. Rhyno was No. 24. Rhyno went after Gunn. Tajiri was No. 25. Tajiri landed a flying head scissors on Rhyno. Lance Storm was No. 26. I hope none of these guys win. Sean O'Haire was No. 27. Gunn was eliminated by O'Haire. Tajiri hit O'Haire with a hurricanrana. Rhyno hit Bubba with a powerbomb. Christian was No. 28. He slowly made his way to the ring. Storm landed a German suplex on Tajiri. Bubba lifted Tajiri up and tossed him out. Jeff Hardy was No. 29. There were a couple of stars bleeding. O'Haire tossed Rhyno out. Bubba eliminated Christian. Bubba kicked O'Haire out of the ring. Eddie Guerrero was No. 30. Eddie kicked Storm off of the apron. Jeff, Bubba and Eddie are the last three. Eddie clotheslined Bubba out. Eddie flipped Jeff over the rope and then kicked him off the apron. Eddie wins as the No. 30 entrant!

Recap: It's been a while since the APA held the tag titles. I like Jericho as IC champ. Triple H made Kurt Angle look like a rookie. I like Eddie as the Rumble winner.
