July Week 2, Year 4


Raw
Match 1. Raven vs. Dreamer vs. Richards

Match 2. Shelton Benjamin vs. William Regal

Match 3. Triple H and Ric Flair vs. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall
Two heel teams going at it. Nash and Triple H have a long history. Eddie interfered and attacked Nash. Hall slammed Flair through the announce table. Nash hit Flair with a big boot, but he kicked out. Both teams then utilized tag moves. Hall hit Flair with two Outsider's Edges to win.

Match 4. Kane vs. Chris Jericho
Kane went for his diving clothesline, but Jericho caught him and hit the Codebreaker. Jericho was in control from there. Kane blocked a punch and hit the chokeslam to win.

After the match, Undertaker came in and celebrated with Kane.

Main Event. Booker T vs. Christian
Jericho walked back down and stood in Christian's corner. Jericho got involved as he punched Booker T. Booker came back with a flapjack and spine buster. He later caught Christian with a scissors kick and won.

SmackDown
Match 1. Goldust vs. Matt Hardy vs. Hurricane

Match 2. Table - Mark Henry vs. Bradshaw
Wait, this isn't the Bradshaw we're used to seeing. He had short, blonde hair. He's going by the name John Bradshaw Layfield now. After a couple of failed attempts to put JBL through a table, Henry hit the World's Strongest Slam. JBL later hit the Clothesline from Hell. He won with an elbow drop through a table.

Match 3. Val Venis vs. Billy Gunn

Match 4. Tajiri vs. Spike Dudley
A good spot for the two cruiserwerights. Spike attacked Tajiri from behind in the ring. Spike landed a jumping DDT and the Dudley Dog. Spike later busted him open with a diving fist. He hit another jumping DDT to win.

After the match, Spike attacked Tajiri again, this time with a chair.

Main Event. Kurt Angle vs. The Rock
Angle busted Rock open with a back elbow smash. Angle broke out of a Boston crab and hit the Angle Slam. Rock shook it off and landed the Rock Bottom. Rock hit a Samoan drop. He then caught Angle in a roll-up and won.

Recap: Not much in terms of news. Bradshaw's new character could propel him into the main event.
