VENGEANCE, Year 4

Vengeance had a very awesome lineup. Looking forward to the matches.

Match 1. Edge and Rey Mysterio vs. Dudley Boyz
Edge and Rey hit D-Von with a missile dropkick and STO combo. Rey took down Bubba with a Lou Thesz Press. The two then brought the match to the outside. All four then began fighting by the announce table. Edge landed a DDT on Bubba. Bubba came back with the Bubba Cutter and won.

Match 2. JBL vs. Eddie Guerrero   WWE United States Championship
Eddie hit JBL with a sit-out powerbomb. JBL tossed Eddie over his head with a belly-to-belly suplex and then landed a neck breaker. JBL went for a powerbomb, but Eddie countered. Eddie hit the brain buster and won. Huge win! Eddie is the new US champ.

Match 3. Hurricane vs. Spike Dudley
This is just a filler match to calm the crowd down before the rest of the event. Spike landed a leg sweep and two powerbombs. He then landed a hurricanrana before getting the win.

Match 4. John Cena vs. Big Show
Cena landed a Five-Knuckle Shuffle and FU on Show in less than seven minutes, but Show kicked out. Show caught Cena with a Showstopper. Cena busted Show open with a few right-hand punches. Cena connected with another Five-Knuckle Shuffle and won.

Match 5. Basham Brothers vs. Los Guerreros   WWE Tag Team Championship
Can Eddie become a double champion? Chavo had Doug on the announce table. He climbed to the top and went for a moonsault, but he missed. Both sets of stairs were in the ring as Danny bashed Eddie open with them. Chavo hit Danny with the Gory Bomb. Eddie came back and hit Doug with the frog splash to regain the titles.

Match 6. Hulk Hogan vs. Brock Lesnar
Surprisingly, Hogan was in control of the beast. He had Lesnar in an armbar and then hit a body slam. Much later, he landed a DDT and the leg drop. Lesnar somehow kicked out, but Hogan was ready. He landed a super back suplex and another leg drop to win.

Main Event. TLC - Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle   WWE Championship
Taker and Angle fought before bringing the ladders into the ring. Taker hit the Tombstone, but Angle rolled out of the ring. Angle caught Taker's leg and then hit the Angle Slam. Both men were on the top rope. Angle hit a swinging neck breaker. Somehow, Taker made it to his feet first and pulled down the title.

Recap: Eddie is on top of the world. Next stop, WWE title. I can't believe Hogan was able to defeat Lesnar. Very good PPV. Royal Rumble is in five weeks.
