BAD BLOOD, Year 5


Match 1. Big Show vs. Booker T
Six minutes into the match, Booker connected with the scissors kick. Booker was able to flip Show over his head multiple times. Big Show came back and hit the Showstopper to win.

Match 2. CM Punk vs. Mr. Kennedy
Kennedy connected with a spinning heel kick. He later busted Punk open with a back elbow smash. Punk then caught Kennedy with a GTS. Kennedy kicked out and landed a spine buster. Punk busted Kennedy open with a DDT, but Kennedy hit the Mic Check for the win.

Match 3. Ric Flair and Batista vs. The Hardys   World Tag Team Championship
The Hardys prevented Batista from entering the match. Both Matt and Jeff took care of Ric Flair. They hit Poetry in Motion fairly early. Matt then hit the Side Effect and Twist of Fate. After a couple of near falls, Matt hit a second Side Effect and tagged in Jeff. Jeff climbed to the top and connected with the Swanton Bomb to win.

Match 4. RVD vs. Umaga
RVD ran toward Umaga, but he countered it into a Samoan drop. RVD was using his quickness to get the better of the big Samoan. RVD landed a couple of hurricanranas. He then landed a heel kick and connected with the Five Star Frog Splash to win.

Match 5. Randy Orton vs. Christian   WWE Intercontinental Championship
This was a great wrestling match. Orton busted Christian open early with a Lou Thesz Press and multiple right-hand punches. Christian landed a front suplex and a reverse neck breaker. After a reverse DDT, Christian went to the top for a frog splash. As he jumped from the top, Orton sprung up and hit the RKO to retain the title.

Match 6. Shawn Michaels vs. Edge
Michaels locked Edge in the Figure Four leg lock. Edge flipped Michaels over to reverse the pain. Michaels came back with an atomic drop and neck breaker. He then finished Edge off with a Sweet Chin Music.

Main Event. Iron Man - Kane vs. Triple H   World Heavyweight Championship
Five minutes into the match, Triple H hit the spine buster and Pedigree. Kane was able to kick out at one. Kane hit the side slam and chokeslam, but got a one count as well. Triple H hit two knee smashes and a second Pedigree to score the first point. Kane tied up the score with two DDTs and a Tombstone. They left the ring and Kane hit Triple H with the steel steps numerous times. Triple H came back and hit a knee smash to take back the lead. He picked up Kane and hit the Pedigree, taking a 3-1 lead. Kane cut the lead in half by countering a double ax handle into a back breaker. Kane tied the score after a sidewalk slam with a minute left. He then took the lead after a huge chokeslam. There was 38 seconds left at this point. Kane scored three points in a row to retain the World title.

Recap: There are new world tag champs! That was a great main event match.
