January Week 1, Year 4


Raw
Match 1. Tomko vs. Dreamer

Match 2. William Regal vs. Goldust

Match 3. Booker T vs. Randy Orton
Booker hit Orton with an STO, heel kick and a spine buster. Orton landed some clotheslines and a body slam before connecting with the RKO. Booker kicked out of a couple of pins before hitting the Book End and the win.

After the match, Booker put out his hand, but Orton slapped it away.

Match 4. Christian vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Benoit
Benoit left the ring and the other two followed. Benoit cracked Christian over the head with a chair. Christian recovered and went for an Unprettier, but Benoit countered. Jeff speared Benoit through the barricade. He then pulled him out of the crowd and got the three count.

Main Event. Triple H vs. Goldberg
Triple H was dominating the former WCW champion. He landed a spine buster and knee smash. Goldberg came back with a spine buster of his own. Triple H had Goldberg in the corner. Goldberg came out and hit Triple H with the Jackhammer to win.

SmackDown
Match 1. Hurricane vs. Matt Hardy

Match 2. Basham Brothers vs. Dudley Boyz
Danny elbow dropped Bubba through the announce table. D-Von and Doug were battling on the outside. Bubba joined the fray. The Dudleyz brought him back into the ring and hit a back breaker/reverse neck breaker combo to win.

Match 3. John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar
Lesnar attacked Cena from behind on the ramp. Lesnar was all over Cena. He landed multiple right hands and then tossed Cena over his head with a fall away slam. Lesnar then finished him off with an F5. Lesnar won in about six and a half minutes.

Match 4. Hulk Hogan w/ The Rock vs. Big Show w/ Matt Morgan
It's been a while since we've seen Rocky. Show grabbed a chair, but Hogan took it away. He then landed a swinging neck breaker. Hogan landed a front slam and an back breaker. Back in the ring, Hogan landed a another neck breaker. Show had him in an abdominal stretch. Hogan broke out and got the win.

Main Event. Kurt Angle vs. Mark Henry

Recap: Jeff Hardy is on a roll right now. Is Rock returning soon? I hope.
