ROYAL RUMBLE, Year 4

This was an awesome card. Five title matches.

Match 1. Eddie Guerrero vs. JBL   WWE United States Championship
This is a great way to kick off the pay-per-view. JBL landed a DDT and a swinging neck breaker. JBL kicked out of a roll-up and hit a powerbomb. Eddie kicked out. He hit a Gory Bomb and a DDT before ending it with the frog splash and a three count.

Match 2. Ric Flair and Batista vs. Christian and Tyson Tomko   World Tag Team Championship
Christian and Tomko beat down the older of the two champions. Flair tagged in Batista, who hit Tomko with a cross body splash. The match spilled to the outside. Tomko landed a powerslam on Batista. Flair headbutted Christian on the outside and got the win.

Match 3. John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar
Lesnar had Cena in the corner as he drove his knee into his face. He then lifted Cena up and landed a powerslam. Cena came back with an FU. Lesnar kicked out and went on a rampage. He landed a vicious clothesline and a release belly-to-back. He finished Cena off with an F5.

Match 4. Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy   WWE Intercontinental Championship
Can Jeff capitalize on his momentum over the last two months? Jeff hit the Twist of Fate in about six minutes. The two were then caught in a pinning battle. Jeff connected with a running dropkick. Orton caught him in another roll-up, but got a two count. Jeff landed a second Twist of Fate and won. This was a great match.

Match 5. Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle   WWE Championship
Taker made quick work of Angle. He tossed Angle into the corner and then landed a flying lariat. After another lariat, Taker hit the Last Ride. Angle made it back to his feet and went for an Angle Slam, but Taker countered it. He hit the Tombstone and got the win to retain his title.

Match 6. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Goldberg   World Heavyweight Championship
Michaels and Triple H hit Goldberg with a double gut buster. Triple H DDT'd Goldberg through the announce table. Goldberg made it back to his feet and hit Triple H with a Jackhammer. Michaels busted the champ open with a diving fist. Triple H busted Goldberg open with a fist drop as well. Goldberg hit The Game with another Jackhammer and got the win.

Main Event. 30-man Royal Rumble
The first two Superstars were Christian and Randy Orton. Two big names to kick things off. Bad luck for Orton. First the IC title and now entered at No. 2. Orton had Christian against the ropes. Mark Henry was No. 3. Henry tossed Orton over the top, but Orton held on. Edge was No. 4. Edge dropkicked Henry. Tomko was No. 5. He landed a powerslam on Orton, which gave Christian a break. Snitsky was No. 6. Some of Raw's top heels are currently in the ring. Edge eliminated Orton and then went after Christian. Test was No. 7. He hit Tomko with some big kicks to the gut. Snitsky, Edge and Test were trying to get Henry out, but Henry made it back in. Snitsky then tossed Henry out by himself. Rey Mysterio was No. 8. Can Edge and Rey work together and make it to the end? Rey almost eliminated Christian. Test kicked Tomko off of the apron for the elimination. Edge dropkicked Snitsky over the rope and down to the floor. Eddie Guerrero was No. 9. Christian hit him with the Unprettier. Matt Hardy was No. 10. Eddie kicked Christian over the top for the elimination. Test lifted Rey up for a military press slam.

Rhyno was No. 11. Test was eliminated by Rey after a heel kick. Hulk Hogan was No. 12. Matt tried to eliminate Eddie, but his grip was too tight. Edge tossed Rhyno over the top for his third elimination already. Carlito was No. 13. This ring is full of SmackDown stars. Edge clotheslined Hogan out of the ring. Edge is still holding that Money in the Bank contract. Rey grabbed Eddie with his heads and flipped him over the top. Sick move. John Cena was No. 14. Edge was a bloody mess. Cena went right after him. Rey eliminated Carlito the same way. Bubba Ray was No. 15. Cena eliminated Edge. Booker T was No. 16. He and Bubba teamed up to eliminate Cena, but were unsuccessful. Chris Jericho was No. 17. Cena eliminated Rey. Jericho eliminated Booker. Matt was unleashing huge rights and lefts on Jericho. Big Show was No. 18. He went right after Cena. Billy Gunn was No. 19. After a second try, Show eliminated Cena. Bubba almost eliminated Matt. Gunn dropkicked Jericho out of the match. A bloody Matt was tossed out by Gunn. Brock Lesnar was No. 20. Oh my.

Jeff Hardy, the new IC champion, was No. 21. Big Show tossed Gunn out with ease. Lesnar hit Jeff with a release German suplex. Chris Benoit was No. 22. Show eliminated Bubba Ray. Jeff almost eliminated Lesnar twice, but he held on. Rob Van Dam was No. 23. Benoit hit Show with a belly-to-belly suplex. Scott Steiner was No. 24. He went right after Lesnar. Steiner landed a huge overhead belly-to-belly. Benoit hit RVD with a German suplex. Jeff dropkicked Show out of the ring. Huge elimination. Lesnar was eliminated by Steiner. Ric Flair was No. 25. Five more Superstars are left. It's now a Raw-only ring. Steiner clotheslined Benoit out. Batista was No. 26. Shelton Benjamin was No. 27. RVD and Jeff were going back and forth with kicks and hurricanranas. RVD hit Flair with a super kick. Steiner flipped Jeff over the top rope. JBL was No. 28. Steiner had Batista in the corner and eliminated him. Shelton eliminated Flair. D-Von was No. 29. JBL clotheslined RVD. Kane was No. 30. JBL eliminated RVD. Kane eliminated JBL. D-Von clotheslined Steiner out of the ring. D-Von, Kane and Shelton are the last three. Shelton hit Kane with the Complete Shot. D-Von and Shelton are focusing on Kane. D-Von busted Shelton open with a headbutt and eliminated him. Kane DDT'd D-Von and then clotheslined him out of the match to win.

Recap: Great Rumble match. Kane is going to WrestleMania! The World title match was awesome. Even the IC title match was great.

Stats: Edge and Steiner had four eliminations each. Rey and Big Show had three.
