SURVIVOR SERIES, Year 2

I lied. There will only be one elimination tag match, but there will be other elimination matches.

Match 1. Elimination Tag - Tazz, Raven and Rhyno vs. Jeff, ??? and ???
Here is Jeff's chance for revenge. Who are his partners? He chose Hardcore Holly and Test. Those are some tough men. This should be brutal. The match spilled to the outside and all six men went at it. Rhyno hit Test with the Gore, but he kicked out. He then hit one on Jeff, but he kicked out as well. Holly scored the first elimination after he hit Tazz with an Alabama Slam. Raven evened the odds many minutes later after he hit Test with a huge DDT. Rhyno gave his team the advantage after a Gore on Holly. Jeff busted Rhyno open with a Twist of Fate and eliminated him. It was down to Jeff and Raven. Despite receiving a Twist of Fate, Raven landed a double underhook suplex and got the win.

Match 2. Trish Stratus vs. Lita   WWF Women's Championship
Lita hit Trish with a super back suplex. She then landed two spinning side slams. After a kick to the back, she landed the Reverse of Fate. Trish kicked out and Lita was ready and hit the Twist of Fate to win.

Match 3. Elimination - Edge vs. Eddie vs. Benoit vs. Jericho   WWF Intercontinental Championship
This is going to be a tough match for Edge. He went after Eddie while the Chris's fought. Benoit went for a back suplex, but Jericho countered and landed a missile drop kick. Benoit locked in the crossface, but Jericho rolled out and hit a reverse DDT. Benoit got up, hit a German suplex and eliminated Jericho. Edge speared Eddie through the barricade. Eddie returned the favor on Edge through another barricade. Back in the ring, Benoit hit Eddie with the Three Amigos. Edge eliminated Benoit after a spear. Maybe Edge can retain the title. Eddie lifted Edge up and hit the Gory bomb. Edge got up and locked in the Edgecator. Eddie attempted a springboard senton, but missed. Edge got up and pinned Eddie to retain the title.

Match 4. Rikishi vs. Mark Henry
Rikishi caught Henry's punch and hit a knee smash and belly-to-belly. Henry came back with a couple of tilt-a-whirl slams and punches across the forehead. Henry blocked Rikishi's punch and hit the World's Strongest Slam. Rikishi kicked out, but Henry stayed in control. He landed a big splash and another WSS to win.

Match 5. Brothers of Destruction vs. The Dudley Boyz   WWF Tag Team Championship
Kane and Undertaker tossed D-Von over their heads. Bubba came in and Kane hit him with a Tombstone, but he kicked out. Bubba, who was a bloody mess, hit Kane with the bionic elbow. The Dudleyz were beating down Kane outside the ring. D-Von made it back in, but Kane did not. The Dudleyz won the match, but Kane and Undertaker retain the titles.

Match 6. Elimination - The Rock vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Stone Cold   #1 Contender's Match
Rock and Austin hit Michaels with a double Russian leg sweep. In the middle of the match, Triple H ran down. He attempted a Pedigree on The Rock, but it was countered. Rock hit Austin with a bulldog and all three men were now bloody messes. Austin was the first man eliminated after Michaels landed a Sweet Chin Music. Michaels hit Rock with a back breaker. Rocky got up, hit the Rock Bottom and won.

Main Event. Best 2 out of 3 Falls - Mankind vs. Triple H vs. Kurt Angle   WWF Championship
I'm interested to see how this works. I guess the first Superstar to score two falls wins. Triple H and Angle were taking turns beating on Mankind. Angle hit Triple H with an Angle Slam, but he didn't even get a one count. A minute or so later, he landed another Angle Slam, but he still kicked out. Mankind used Mr. Socko on Triple H, but Angle broke up the pin. Triple H got up and hit Angle with a Pedigree and busted him open, but it's still tied at 0. Mankind finally scored the first point after a double-arm DDT on Triple H. He immediately scored the second point after some right hands. What a finish.

Recap: What a way to kick off the PPV. I thought had it at the end. Lita is once again Women's champion. That title has been passed around a lot. Edge is unstoppable. The Dudleyz will get a rematch on Raw. This time there will be no count outs. So at Armageddon, it will be Rock vs. Mankind for the WWF title. Don't forget, Austin still has his Money in the Bank contract.
