Match 1. Ken Shamrock vs. Goldust

Match 2. Godfather vs. Matt Hardy

Match 3. Brothers of Destruction vs. New Age Outlaws

Brothers of Destruction left the ring and met the Outlaws on the ramp and took them down. Taker brought Road Dogg into the ring and hit the chokeslam. Kane was tagged in and took his turn beating up Dogg. He landed a tilt-a-whirl slam before Billy Gunn was tagged in. Kane hit him with a sidewalk slam and a chokeslam to win.

Match 4. Falls Count Anywhere - Big Show vs. The Rock

Rock wasted little time as he ran down the ramp and took down Big Show in the ring. Rock quickly landed a float-over DDT and a spine buster. Big Show kicked out and then received a Rock Bottom. The match spilled to the outside and both men picked up the steel steps. Big Show placed Rock on the announce table and jumped from the top rope, splashing onto The Rock. After using the steps, Big Show landed a huge right hand and won.

Main Event. Edge vs. Val Venis   #1 Contender's Match

Val landed a back suplex and then threw Edge into the corner. He attempted a corner clothesline, but Edge moved. Edge slammed Val's head against the mat and locked in the Edgecator. Val broke out and ran towards Edge a couple of times, but Edge always reversed it. Edge then lifted Val and dropped him across the ropes before getting the three count.

After the match, Edge was celebrating and Jericho came out and sarcastically clapped.

SmackDown

Match 1. Lita vs. Stephanie McMahon
Lita landed a back breaker and a tilt-a-whirl slam. Lita went for a right hand, but Stephanie blocked it and landed the Pedigree. A few minutes later, Lita landed a tornado head scissors and caught Stephanie in a roll-up in. After a two count, Lita caught Stephanie's leg and hit the Twist of Fate to win.

Match 2. Grand Master Sexay vs. Scotty 2 Hotty

Match 3. Matt Hardy vs. D-Von Dudley

Match 4. Mankind and Stevie Richards vs. Triple H and Gangrel

This is an interesting tag match. Triple H speared Richards through the barricade. He recovered and he and Foley worked well together, performing some tag moves. Maybe it's from their ECW days. Mankind hit Gangrel with an atomic drop and DDT. He then brought him over to Triple H, hit the piledriver and double-arm DDT to win.

After the match, Mankind was in the ring when Edge's music hit. Mankind was looking at the ramp, but Edge attacked him from behind.

Main Event. Kurt Angle vs. The Rock

Angle landed a Russian leg sweep and then hit the triple German suplexes. Rock broke out of a rear naked choke and then hit a Samoan drop. Angle got up and busted Rock open with a drop toe hold. He then hit three more German suplexes. Angle went for the Angle Slam but Rock countered and hit the Rock Bottom for the win.

After the match, Angle raised The Rock's arm in victory.

Match 1. Billy Gunn vs. Rikishi

Match 2. Val Venis vs. Ken Shamrock

Match 3. Stevie Richards vs. Gangrel

Match 4. Grand Master Sexay vs. D-Von Dudley

Main Event. Big Show vs. Scotty 2 Hotty
