November Week 1, Year 5


Raw
Match 1. Zack Ryder vs. Justin Gabriel

Match 2. Ryback vs. Heath Slater and David Otunga
The newest member of the Raw roster, Ryback, takes on Slater and Otunga. Otunga brought Ryback to his corner and tagged in Slater. Slater took Ryback down with a chop block and landed a springboard splash and neck breaker. Ryback slammed Slater through the announce table and won by count out.

Match 3. Wade Barrett vs. Triple H

Match 4. Shawn Michaels vs. Edge
Edge landed a sit-out face buster and the Edge-O-Matic. He continued with a neck breaker and another DDT. After a float-over DDT, Edge hit the spear and won.

Main Event. Big Show vs. Sheamus
Sheamus lifted Show up and hit the Irish Curse back breaker. Show kicked out, but Sheamus landed some rights and lefts. Show hit the Showstopper. Sheamus wouldn't stay down. He came back and lifted Show up for the Celtic Cross and won.

After the match, Sheamus put his hand out, but Show slapped it away and left the ring.

SmackDown
Match 1. Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre

Match 2. Sin Cara vs. John Morrison vs. R-Truth

Match 3. CM Punk and JBL vs. Booker T and Christian
After getting a roll-up, Christian hit JBL with the Killswitch. A couple of minutes later, Punk hit Booker with the GTS. Both teams used tag moves. The settled down with Punk and Christian. Punk missed a springboard elbow, but hit a kick to the back of the head. Punk forced Booker to tap to the Anaconda Vice.

Match 4Alberto Del Rio vs. Randy Orton
Punk attacked Orton from behind again. Orton hit the Lou Thesz Press. Del Rio focused on the left arm of Orton with an arm lock. He then hit a sit-out powerbomb. Del Rio later locked in the cross arm breaker. Orton broke out, but he was holding his arm. Del Rio hit a belly-to-belly suplex and won.

Main Event. Jeff Hardy vs. Mark Henry
Henry tossed Jeff into the ropes. Jeff countered with a jaw breaker and the Twist of Fate. Jeff later hit a running bulldog. Henry got up and landed a huge clothesline. He landed a tilt-a-whirl slam and the World's Strongest Slam to win.

Recap: I just realized that no titles changed hands at the pay-per-view.
