July Week 4, Year 5

There was a draft lottery before Raw kicked off. The picks will be listed below. There were also many releases and signings. The new Superstars will debut over the next few weeks.

Raw

Match 1. The Hardys vs. Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase
Matt hit Ted with a diving ax handle from the second rope. After hit Cody a couple of times with a chair, Jeff landed the Twist of Fate. The match spilled to the outside where Rhodes hit Matt with a reverse DDT. Matt came back with a Twist of Fate on the ramp and won.

Match 2. CM Punk vs. Batista
Welcome back to Raw, Batista. Batista tossed Punk into the corner and caught him in a roll-up, but Punk kicked out. A couple of minutes later, Batista hit Punk with the Go To Sleep and won.

Match 3. Randy Orton vs. Carlito

Match 4. Kane vs. Big Show

Main Event. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena   #1 Contender's match

Yes, John Cena is now on Raw. Triple H and Cena hit Michaels with a double gut buster. Cena hit Triple H with a Lou Thesz Press, but The Game got up and landed the Pedigree. Cena recovered and hit Michaels with a powerslam. Triple H then hit him with a Pedigree as well. Michaels went for a springboard cross body, but Cena caught him and hit the Attitude Adjustment to win.

After the match, Cena put out his hand, but Triple H slapped it away.

SmackDown

Match 1. R-Truth vs. John Morrison

Match 2. Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz vs. Mark Henry

Match 3. Booker T and Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho

After hitting Booker with a missile dropkick, Jerichi was accidentally busted open by Angle. Booker came back with a sidewalk slam and a spine buster. Booker tagged in Taker, but he didn't stay for long. Jericho landed a cross body and a powerbomb on Booker. Booker hit Jericho with a scissors kick, but Y2J got right up and hit the Codebreaker to win.

Match 4. The Rock vs. Edge

Both of these Superstars have a Money in the Bank briefcase. The winner will be the undisputed Money in the Bank winner. Edge landed a flapjack and a face buster. After a heel kick, he connected with the spear. He then busted Rock open with a float-over DDT. Edge landed a shoulder thrust and clothesline in the corner before getting the three count.

Main Event. Bobby Lashley vs. Kofi Kingston   #1 Contender's match

The winner will most likely face MVP at the next pay-per-view. Lashley tossed Kofi into the ropes, but Kofi landed Trouble in Paradise. Lashley kicked out and hit the Dominator. Kofi came back with a heel kick and a hurricanrana. Lashley locked Kofi in a Boston Crab and won.

After the match, MVP came out and clapped for Lashley.

Recap: Both shows were really good this week. I love the new talent that are making an impact.
