August Week 4, Year 5

Raw
Match 1. William Regal vs. Ted DiBiase

Match 2. CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes

Match 3. Iron Man - Randy Orton vs. John Cena
Cena landed a gutwrench powerbomb and the AA, but Orton kicked out. Orton scored the first point in a little less than five minutes. Orton continued with a back breaker and an RKO to go up 2-0. Orton went up 3-1 after another RKO with about 5:30 left. Cena cut the deficit to one with another Attitude Adjustment. He immediately went back on offense with a back breaker. Orton landed a vicious neck breaker and got another point. Cena hit his third AA and got back within one again with less than a minute left. Orton made sure he would win with a quick roll-up. Orton won by a score of 5-3.

Match 4. DX vs. The Hardys
It's official. D-Generation X is back. Matt and Triple H did a lot of the fighting in the beginning. Triple H speared Jeff through the barricade and hit him with a knee smash and spine buster in the ring and won.

Main Event. Steel Cage - Kane vs. Batista
Batista landed a knee smash and a tilt-a-whirl slam. Batista ran toward Kane, but he was met with a tilt-a-w-whirl slam of his own. He later landed a back suplex and a running front slam. Batista picked Kane up and hit the Tombstone before climbing over the cage.

SmackDown
Match 1. Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler
Really good opening match with one-half of the tag champs and a possible challenger. Kofi landed a neck breaker and the Boom Drop. Ziggler kicked out of a couple of pins and locked in the sleeper hold. A couple of minutes later, Kofi caught Ziggler with Trouble in Paradise to win.

Match 2. R-Truth vs. The Miz

Match 3. Edge vs. Booker T

Match 4. Rey Mysterio and Sheamus vs. Kurt Angle and Mark Henry
Both teams used tag moves early on. Sheamus slammed Angle's head against the steel post and busted him open. Angle returned the favor with a running bulldog. Angle then landed the triple German suplexes and speared Sheamus through the barricade. Sheamus went for the Celtic Cross, but Henry made the save. Back in the ring, Sheamus hit the Irish Curse and won.

Main Event. Street Fight - Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho
These two can't stay apart. Taker was in the ring and Jericho was walking down the ramp. Taker left the ring and took down Jericho on the ramp. Jericho placed Taker on the announce table and put him through with a DDT. He then landed a suplex and locked in the Walls of Jericho. Back in the ring, a bloody Taker was on the receiving end of a Codebreaker and lost.

Recap: The number of announce tables that are broken each month is too damn high. Here comes SummerSlam.
