GREAT AMERICAN BASH, Year 5

Match 1. MVP vs. Bobbly Lashley   WWE United States Championship
Lashley hit MVP with a running powerslam and a Dominator. Lashley was making quick work of the champion. MVP landed a back suplex and reversed a powerbomb into a face buster. He then locked in a crossface, but Lashley broke out. MVP connected with a huge clothesline and retained the title.

Match 2. Sheamus vs. ???
Sheamus is facing a mystery opponent. It's...it's Jack Swagger. The All-American American. What a pay-per-view for him to make his debut at. Sheamus tossed Swagger shoulder first into the steel post. He then landed a powerslam and the Celtic Cross. Sheamus landed a second Celtic Cross three minutes later to win.

Match 3. Chavo and The Hurricane vs. The Miz and John Morrison
Chavo and Hurricane hit Miz with a double cross body. A little later, Chavo speared Miz through the barricade. All four men began battling on the outside. Chavo hit Miz with a Gory Bomb. Chavo speared Miz through another barricade. Hurricane then hit Miz with the Eye of the Hurricane and won.

Match 4. Money in the Bank - Rey vs. Kurt Angle vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. JBL vs. Rock vs. Mark Henry
Does The Rock have one more big match left in him? Angle left the ring and brought a ladder into the ring. Henry tossed in a second ladder. Rock hit Ziggler with a Samoan drop, float-over DDT and then slammed him with a ladder. Rey climbed up a ladder, but Henry knocked it down. Rey then crashed down on the mat. Rock put Ziggler through the announce table with a Rock Bottom. Angle and Rey spent most of the match on the outside. Angle and Rey made it back into the ring. Angle hit him with an Angle Slam and began climbing. He was knocked down, but hit Henry with an Angle Slam. Rock climbed up and pulled down the briefcase.

Match 5. Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase vs. Boom Truth   WWE Tag Team Championship
Ted busted Kofi open with a flying dropkick. Kofi landed a huge diving leg drop and a Russian leg sweep. Both teams then executed tag moves for extra impact. Ted hit R-Truth with a sit-out spine buster and then hit Dream Street. Truth speared Ted through the barricade. Truth hit Cody with a Lie Detector. There are new WWE Tag Team champions!

Match 6. Iron Man - John Cena vs. Batista
Both Superstars got about five near falls each within the first four minutes. Cena landed a hip toss and the FU, but only got a one count. Batista hung Cena out to dry over the top rope. Cena landed a fisherman suplex. With five minutes left, the score was still tied at zero. After a running slam, Batista scored the first point after Cena tapped from an octopus stretch. There was about three minutes left. Batista scored a second point after a spine buster. Cena hit the FU and scored his first point, but it was too late. Batista won.

Main Event. Chris Jericho vs. Undertaker   WWE Championship
Taker had Jericho in an octopus stretch. Y2J broke out, but Taker was ready and hit the chokeslam. Taker and Jericho exchanged rights and lefts. Jericho then caught him with a Codebreaker. Taker kicked out, but Jericho locked him in a modified camel clutch and won.

Recap: The Rock did it! He is guaranteed a WWE title match. That was a great Iron Man match. This was a damn good PPV.
