August Week 2, Year 5

Raw

Match 1. William Regal vs. Mr. Kennedy

Match 2. Ladder - RVD vs. CM Punk
I'm not sure what they will be pulling down, but the match should be great regardless. Punk and RVD were at the top of the ladder. Punk grabbed RVD and landed an inverted Death Valley Driver, sending both men crashing on the mat. He hit a second DVD about two minutes later. RVD somehow got up first and pulled down the briefcase.

Match 3. Kane vs. Big Show

Match 4. The Hardys vs. Carlito and Chris Masters

Carlito and Masters hit Matt with a back breaker/elbow drop combo. They then hit him with a double back elbow smash. The match spilled to the outside, where Matt drove Carlito through the barricade before getting the win.

Main Event. Batista vs. John Cena

Kane made his way to ringside. Batista blocked a kick from Cena and hit the Batista Bomb. Cena kicked out and immediately hit Batista with the AA to win.

SmackDown

Match 1. Sheamus vs. Jack Swagger vs. MVP vs. Bobby Lashley
MVP put Swagger through the announce table with a DDT. Swagger came back with a hip toss from the top rope and a German suplex to follow. Lashley hit Sheamus with a running powerslam. He then hit the Dominator. MVP hit Swagger with a running kick and won.

Match 2. Kofi Kingston vs. Mark Henry

Match 3. Kurt Angle vs. Booker T

Match 4. Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz

Ziggler took Miz down with a dropkick. He then landed some right hands and then a neck breaker. Ziggler continued with a falling gut buster. The two were then in a pinning battle, which Miz ended up winning. Miz stole this victory.

Miz extended his hand, but Ziggler slapped it away.

Main Event. Chris Jericho vs. Undertaker

Taker ran down to the ring and speared Jericho before the bell rang. Taker wanted to get revenge. Taker wasted no time as he Tombstoned Jericho through the announce table. He then busted him open with the steel steps. Back in the ring, Taker hit the Last Ride and won.

Recap: Another good week of action. I think Raw is becoming my favorite.
