UNFORGIVEN, Year 2

Match 1. Edge and Christian vs. Brothers of Destruction   WWF Tag Team Championship

What a way to kick off the PPV. Right out of the gate, Undertaker hit Edge with a belly-to-belly suplex. Much later, Kane and Undertaker isolated Edge and kept themselves fresh with quick tags. Undertaker went for a powerbomb, but Edge rolled out. Christian speared Undertaker through the railing. Undertaker made it back into the ring. He caught Christian, who was going for a springboard splash and hit the Tombstone to win.

Match 2. Shamrock vs. Boss Man vs. Test vs. Holly vs. Richards   WWF Hardcore Championship

This is a Championship Scramble match. The first two men were Test and Holly. Test landed a sidewalk slam and went for the early pin, but Holly kicked out. Holly left the ring and hit Test with a running DDT. Shamrock was the next man out. Holly hit Shamrock with the Alabama Slam, but he kicked out. Stevie Richards came out next and he immediately grabbed a sledgehammer. Test hit Shamrock with a pump handle slam. Richards hit Test with a huge powerbomb and got the three count to become the new (temporary) champ. Holly hit Test with an Alabama Slam to become the champ. 

Boss Man finally entered the match. The other four competitors are beaten down. Test took out Holly and got the three count. Holly, Test and Shamrock were all bleeding. Holly was champion again after hitting Shamrock with a Falcon Arrow suplex. Two minutes were left and Boss Man went after Test. He landed a running powerslam. Boss Man then drove his shoulder into the gut of Test. Stevie landed a big spine buster on Shamrock. Test hit Richards with a full nelson, but Boss Man broke up the pin. Time ran out and Hardcore Holly is the new champion.

Match 3. Table - The Hardy Boyz vs. The Dudley Boyz

There were a couple of broken tables from missed moves. Bubba hit Matt with the bionic elbows. He then hit the Bubba Cutter. Jeff attempted to put Bubba through a table with a leg drop, but he rolled out of the way. Matt hit D-Von with a Twist of Fate. Bubba speared Jeff through a table to win.

Match 4. Chris Jericho vs. Edge   WWF Intercontinental Championship

Edge is competing in his second match of the night. Edge dropped a knee across the chest of Jericho and then hit him with a northern lights suplex. Edge landed a neck breaker and then locked in the Edgecator. Jericho broke out and went after Edge, but was low blowed. Edge landed a reverse neck breaker and got the win. It's the third title to change hands tonight.

Match 5. Trish Stratus vs. Lita   WWF Women's Championship

Lita drove her knee into the back of Trish, but he broke out and then landed a hurricanrana. Lita came back with a face buster and the Reverse of Fate. Trish kicked out, but Lita continued with a back breaker. Lita landed a reverse DDT and a Twist of Fate to win. Another new champion!

Match 6. Steel Cage - The Rock vs. Big Show

Big Show drove his backside into The Rock while in the corner and immediately hit a crossbody. Rock landed a swinging neck breaker, but Show got up and landed the knockout punch. Rock was up and countered Big Show's run into a Samoan drop. A minute later, Rock hit the Rock Bottom. Big Show got up and speared The Rock. He was then able to climb out of the cage.

Main Event. Triple H w/ Stephanie vs. Mankind   WWF Championship

Will Mankind make it a clean sweep with a title change? Triple H landed a super hip toss and a knee smash. The match then spilled to the outside. Mankind went to spear Triple H through the barricade, but he blocked it and hit a DDT. Manking got up and shoved Mr. Socko down The Game's throat. Triple H threw Mankind back in the ring. He hit some right hands and hit two knee smashes. After a two count, Triple H hit the Pedigree to retain the title.

Recap: Edge and Christian finally lost the tag titles. I like that Edge is the IC champion. Great event. Getting closer and closer to the next phase of my Universe.
