NO MERCY, Year 2

Match 1. Brian Pillman vs. Val Venis vs. X-Pac   WWF European Championship
Val and Pillman hit Pac with a double gut buster. Pillman then hit Pac with a springboard senton drop. Val hit Pillman with a half nelson suplex. Pac hit a superplex on Val and they landed on the outside. Back in the ring, Val landed another half nelson suplex. Val landed a super back suplex on Pillman. Pac immediately went for the cover on Pillman and won.

Match 2. Lita vs. Trish Stratus   WWF Women's Championship
Trish broke out of a camel clutch, but Lita didn't let up as she hit the Reverse of Fate early in the match. A little later, Lita landed a flying head scissors. Trish got up and hit the Chick Kick. Lita got up and fought back. She caught Trish in a roll-up, but she kicked out. Trish landed another Chick Kick and won the title.

Match 3. Edge vs. Matt Hardy   WWF Intercontinental Championship
I was not expecting this. Two matches, two title changes. Can this be the third? Edge landed three huge moves in a row, which hurt Matt a lot. They left the ring for a minute, but Edge gained back control once in the ring. He landed a face buster and another back suplex before locking in the Edgecator and getting the win.

Match 4. Kurt Angle vs. Big Show vs. The Rock
Angle and Show worked together to take down the big man. Show threw Rock into the corner and then hit Angle with a spear. Rock hit Show with a Rock Bottom a minute later. Rock and Show hit Angle with a double chokeslam. Show was on the outside when Angle hit Rock with an Angle Slam. Show landed two step-over leg drops and won the match.

Match 5. Brothers of Destruction vs. Edge and Christian   WWF Tag Team Championship
Edge and Undertaker started the match. Edge landed an atomic drop, but Undertaker flipped him over his head. Christian and Kane went at it. Christian landed a rolling heel kick. He went for the Unprettier, but Kane blocked it and hit a chokeslam. Christian kicked out and he and Edge worked as a team, taking down Kane and Undertaker. Undertaker picked Christian up and landed the Tombstone to win.

Match 6. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho
Jericho went for a powerbomb, but Benoit reversed it into an arm drag. A couple of minutes later, Benoit connected with the triple German suplexes. Benoit then locked in the crossface. Jericho rolled out, but Benoit locked it in again. Jericho got out again. Benoit took him down with a Russian leg sweep and won.

Main Event. Hell in a Cell - Triple H vs. Mankind   WWF Championship
Is this Mankind's final shot? Triple H landed an atomic drop and a clothesline. He picked Mankind up and hit the Pedigree in less than five minutes. Mankind kicked out and hit a DDT and piledriver. Triple H kicked out, but Mankind was ready and hit the double-arm DDT to win the title.

Recap: Pillman finally lost the European title. Three of the five titles changed hands. Wow.
