August Week 4, Year 2

The final week before SummerSlam, the biggest party of the summer. I completely forgot about the surprise after Vengeance. It will debut after the PPV.

Raw

Match 1. Trish Stratus vs. Molly Holly   #1 Contender's Match

Trish hit a bulldog and Molly came back with a reverse DDT. A few minutes later, Molly slapped Trish and then hit a northern lights suplex. Molly continued with a hurricanrana and another DDT. She went to the top and attempted a flipping senton, but Trish caught her and hit a powerbomb. She then connected with the Chick Kick to win.

Match 2. Ken Shamrock vs. Hardcore Holly vs. Shane McMahon   WWF Hardcore Championship

One of the longest triple threat matches ever. There were ladders, guitars, steel steps, replica belts used throughout the match. Holly smashed Shane's face against the outside padding, which made him bleed. A few minutes later, Shane returned the favor when he slammed Holly's face against the steel post. Shamrock snuck up behind Shane and hit him with a belly-to-back suplex to retain his title..

Match 3. Brothers of Destruction vs. Big Boss Man and Triple H

Kane and Undertaker were in the ring when Boss Man and Triple H were making their way down the ramp. They left the ring and attacked them halfway up the ramp. Taker hit Boss Man with a Tombstone outside the ring. Triple H and Boss Man double teamed Taker on the outside as the ref prevented Kane from helping. Kane busted Triple H open with a DDT. Kane speared Triple H through the barricade while Taker caught his breath. Triple H made it back into the ring. Taker capitalized and hit a clothesline to get the win. 

Match 4. Stone Cold vs. Kurt Angle

The rubber match in their rivalry. Angle went to clothesline Austin, but he ducked at the referee took the move. Austin stomped a mudhold in Angle. Angle got up and hit a clothesline and a back body drop. Austin ran towards Angle, but he reversed it into a hip toss and got the three count.

Main Event. Chris Jericho vs. Edge

Edge ran down the ramp and took down Jericho before the bell rang. Edge hit Jericho with a flapjack. He later hit a superplex and an Edge-O-Matic. Edge locked in the Edgecator. Jericho broke out, but Edge took him down with a dragon screw and won.

Saturday Night Heat

Match 1. Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Hardcore Holly

Match 2. Jeff Hardy vs. Gangrel

Match 3. Stevie Richards vs. D-Von Dudley

Match 4. Mankind vs. Chris Jericho

Main Event. Stone Cold vs. Chris Benoit

Recap: I was not expecting that finish to the Angle/Austin match. The Edge/Jericho was even quicker. Why?
