December Week 1, Year 2

Survivor Series was a strong pay-per-view. I liked the two triple threat matches the most. The Dudleyz will get their title shot on SmackDown.

Raw

Match 1. Trish Stratus vs. Stephanie McMahon

Match 2. Rikishi and Grand Master Sexay vs. Big Show and Big Boss Man

Match 3. Chris Jericho vs. Matt Hardy

Match 4. Brothers of Destruction vs. X-Pac and Billy Gunn

It's been a while since we have seen any members of DX. After a double team move, Undertaker hit Billy with a flying lariat. He then hit the Tombstone, but Gunn rolled out of the ring. Kane and X-Pac then went at it. Pac went for a hurricanrana, but Kane caught him and landed a powerbomb. Undertaker hit Gunn with another Tombstone and won.

After the match, the APA ran down and attacked Kane and Undertaker. Did the Dudleyz hire the APA to weaken the champs?

Main Event. Kurt Angle vs. Triple H

About six minutes into the match, Angle landed the triple German suplexes. He went to kick Triple H in the gut, but he was caught and Triple H hit the Pedigree. Angle landed a superplex, but got a two count. A minute later, Angle hit the Angle Slam and won. Great main event.

SmackDown

Match 1. Raven vs. Grand Master Sexay

Match 2. Stephanie McMahon vs. Molly Holly

Match 3. Brothers of Destruction vs. The Dudley Boyz   WWF Tag Team Championship

It didn't take long for the teams to introduce weapons into the match. In about five minutes, there was a table, ladder, chair sledgehammer and a guitar. Undertaker hit D-Von with a chokeslam on the outside. Kane and Bubba Ray fought on the other side of the ring. Undertaker hit D-Von with a flying clothesline and a Tombstone to win.

Match 4. Kurt Angle vs. Mankind vs. Triple H

This is a non-title rematch from Survivor Series. On his way to the ring, Mankind was attacked by Chris Jericho. Angle and Triple H hit Mankind with a double DDT. Triple H and Mankind went for a double suplex, but Angle reversed it and DDT'd both men. Mankind DDT'd Angle through the announce table. Angle got up and hit Mankind with an Angle Slam. A minute or so later, Triple H left the ring and Angle hit Mankind with another Angle Slam to win.

Main Event. The Rock vs. Big Show

Rock quickly locked Big Show in a Boston crab. Later, he put Show in a leg lock and then hit the spine buster. Rock taunted Show, but Show got up and hit the Showstopper. Big Show then landed a vicious headbutt. Rock came back with a Samoan drop and another spine buster. He then ended the match with a Rock Bottom.

After the match, Triple H ran down and hit Rock with a lead pipe.

Saturday Night Heat

Match 1. Raven vs. Matt Hardy

Match 2. Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Rhyno

Match 3. Stephanie McMahon vs. Molly Holly

Match 4. Stevie Richards vs. Grand Master Sexay

Main Event. The Rock vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho

Recap: Kurt Angle defeated Triple H on Raw and then pinned the champion on SmackDown. It's been a good week.
