Match 1. KotR Round 1 - Kane vs. Test

Match 2. Stevie Richards vs. Ric Flair
During the match, Triple H interfered and attacked Stevie. He hit a Pedigree and Flair won.

Match 3. DDP vs. William Regal   Intercontinental and European championships

This is a unification match. DDP and Regal were reversing a lot of each other's moves. DDP went for a powerbomb, but Regal reversed it into a DDT. DDP hit back-to-back Diamond Cutters and won.

Match 4. KotR Round 1 - Rob Van Dam vs. Jeff Hardy

This should be an exciting match. After a monkey flip, RVD connected with a super kick. Jeff fought back with some body slams and dropkicks. He then hit the Twist of Fate. RVD hit some hurricanrana pins, but Jeff kicked out. RVD landed a third one, Jeff countered and won.

After the match, Jeff put out his hand, but RVD slapped it away.

Main Event. Triple H vs. Undertaker vs. Hulk Hogan   #1 Contender's match

Who will face Kevin Nash at the King of the Ring pay-per-view? I'm rooting for Taker or Hogan. All three men were bloody messes by the time this match was over. Triple H and Taker hit Hogan with a double DDT. Later, Taker went for a Tombstone on the outside, but Triple H reversed it. He tried again in the ring, but same result. Triple H ended it with a Pedigree on Hogan.

SmackDown

Match 1. 4-Man Battle Royal - Kidman vs. Rey vs. Chavo vs. Spike
Chavo hit Rey with the Gory Bomb. Rey was eliminated after Chavo dropkicked him off of the apron. Kidman almost eliminated Spike. He eventually got the job done, but he didn't have time to breathe as Chavo was right there. Chavo lifted Kidman over his shoulder and tossed him out.

Match 2. KotR Round 1 - Brock Lesnar vs. Rhyno

Match 3. KotR Round 1 - Billy Gunn vs. Rikishi

Match 4. KotR Round 1 - Eddie Guerrero vs. Batista

They got into a pinning battle early. Batista landed a few short-arm clotheslines. He then landed a spike piledriver. Eddie came back with the Three Amigos and monkey flip out of the corner to win.

After the match, Test attacked Eddie from behind.

Main Event. Kurt Angle vs. The Rock

Angle appeared at the top of the stage when Rock exiting the curtain and attacked him from behind. Rock hit the Rock Bottom on the ramp before making it to the ring. Angle caught Rock with a huge Angle Slam. Rock recovered and hit Angle with the Angle Slam before getting the win.

After the match, Rock stuck out his hand, but Angle dropped to his knees and low blowed him.

Recap: There is no more European Championship. It had a good run. The second round is set for the King of the Ring.
