January Week 1, Year 6


Raw
Match 1. Roman Reigns vs. Brodus Clay

Match 2. Fandango vs. RVD

Match 3. R-Truth and Big E. vs. Darren Young and Dolph Ziggler
Langston attacked Ziggler a few weeks ago. Truth and Young have been battling with their respective teams. Truth and Ziggler were in a pinning battle early. Ziggler and Young hit Truth with two tag moves. Langston hit Young with a huge body splash through the announce table. Langston hit Ziggler with the Big Ending on the outside to win.

Match 4. Seth Rollins vs. Kane
Kane made quick work of one-half of the tag champs. He stomped all over him and landed a sidewalk slam. Rollins tossed Kane into the corner and went for a dropkick, but Kane dodged it. Kane landed the chokeslam and won.

Main Event. Dean Ambrose vs. John Cena w/ CM Punk
Cena landed a couple of shoulder tackles and a clothesline. He then hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Ambrose left the ring and took apart the announce table. He then DDT'd Cena through it. Cena came back and hit Ambrose with the AA. Cena hit a second one in the ring to win.

NXT
Match 1. David Otunga vs. Adrian Neville

Match 2. Ted DiBiase vs. Tyler Breeze

Match 3. CJ Parker vs. Bo Dallas

Match 4. Sami Zayn vs. Kassius Ohno

Main Event. Corey Graves vs. Leo Kruger

SmackDown
Match 1. Sin Cara vs. Heath Slater

Match 2. Tons of Funk vs. Rhodes Scholars
Can Sandow follow up his world title win with a tag match win? And he does. Sandow tossed Tensai and landed a flapjack, busting him open. Sandow and Rhodes attacked Tensai on the outside. Sandow then speared Tensai through the barricade. After kicking out from a body splash, Rhodes hit Clay with Cross Rhodes and won.

Match 3. Alberto Del Rio vs. Big Show

Match 4. Sheamus vs. Mark Henry
Before the match, Henry attacked Sheamus from behind. Henry quickly hit the military press slam and the World's Strongest Slam. He then beat him down on the outside. After tossing Sheamus into the steal steps, Henry locked in a bear hug and made Sheamus tap.

Main Event. Randy Orton vs. Christian
Sandow attacked Orton from behind, making an impact on the world title picture. Orton landed a clothesline and a swinging neck breaker. Christian came back with a mudhole stomping and the Killswitch. After a couple of nearfalls, Orton connected with the RKO to win.

Recap: Orton will look to get his revenge on Sandow. The Shield was all over Raw.
