WRESTLEMANIA, Year 2

The second annual WrestleMania in my Universe. Not many big-name Superstars were left off of the card. I think Mark Henry was the biggest name absent.

Pre-Show. Extreme Rules - Goldust vs. Dreamer vs. Rhyno vs. Raven   WWF Hardcore Championship
Very quickly there was a garbage can, crutch and chair. Dreamer bulldogged Rhyno through the announce table. Dreamer hit Rhyno with a spike piledriver. Goldust landed the Curtain Call on Raven. Rhyno Gored Dreamer. Goldust landed a falling neck breaker to retain the title.

Match 1. Kurt Angle vs. Big Show vs. Eddie Guerrero
This was a great match to open the PPV. All three men were bleeding by the end of the match. Cactus Jack ran down and helped Angle attack Eddie. Cactus hit the double-arm DDT on Eddie. Show hit Eddie with the Final Cut. A few minutes later, Show landed the Showstopper on Eddie. Show clotheslined Eddie. Angle clotheslined Show and won.

Match 2. Molly Holly vs. Lita   WWF Women's Championship
Lita landed a snap DDT and a Twist of Fate, but Molly kicked out of two pins. Lita didn't let up with a flying head scissors and a Reverse of Fate. Lita climbed the ropes and landed a huge moonsault to win. Lita is once again Women's champion.

Match 3. The Dudley Boyz vs. Edge and Christian   WWF Tag Team Championship
Bubba hit Christian with the Bionic Elbow. D-Von came in and received a super reverse DDT. Edge busted D-Von open with a flapjack. Bubba landed a fall away slam. Edge brought him to the outside and landed a Downward Spiral. Back in the ring Bubba hit the Bubba Bomb and won.

Match 4. Kane vs. Chris Jericho   WWF Intercontinental Championsip
Kane placed Jericho on the top rope, but he fought back and landed a diving elbow. Kane came right back with two spinning side slams. He then used the Walls of Jericho. Jericho later locked Kane in the Walls. After landed a back elbow smash, Jericho got the win.

Match 5. The Rock vs. Shawn Michaels
Rock shoved Michaels away. He ran back, but Rock hit the Samoan drop. Rock landed some right hands, but Michaels blocked the last one and connected with the Sweet Chin Music. Rock was able to kick out. Michaels landed a spike piledriver and then won after a super hurricanrana.

Match 6. Chris Benoit vs. Triple H
This wasn't a particularly long match. Benoit landed an atomic drop and a German suplex before receiving a knee smash and a Pedigree. Triple H won in 4:39.

Main Event. Stone Cold vs. Undertaker   WWF Championship
Who knew who Undertaker was going to face? First it was Triple H, then Chris Benoit and now the Texas Rattlesnake. Austin dragged a lifeless Taker and landed a Lou Thesz Press. He went for a Stunner, but it was blocked and Taker hit the Tombstone, busting Austin open in the process. Austin hit a bulldog and an elbow drop. He then hit the Stunner and won to retain the title. This match didn't go eight minutes.

Recap: I'm surprised how short the singles matches were. Lita and Chris Jericho get their belts back. The udnercard was pretty good, but I'm upset that the three big matches didn't last too long.
