OVER THE EDGE, Year 1

Looks like this PPV has a double main event.

Match 1. X-Pac vs. Chris Jericho vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. D'Lo Brown
This match was exciting from start to finish. Pac hit Brown with a super kick. Pac later busted Jericho open with a heel kick. After breaking out of a camel clutch, Jericho hit Pac with a neck breaker. Jericho then picked Pac up and landed the 3 powerbombs to win.

Match 2. New Age Outlaws vs. Edge and Christian   WWF Tag Team Championship
Christian spent a lot of time in the ring as he took on both members of the New Age Outlaws. Edge came in and hit Road Dogg with a Downward Spiral. Christian then hit him with the Unprettier. Edge and Christian continued their beat down of Road Dogg. They landed a spear/clothesline combo. Billy Gunn finally came in when Road Dogg tossed him on top of Edge. Edge and Christian hit the tag move on Gunn and Christian got the 3 count.

Match 3. Triple H vs. The Undertaker
The match quickly spilled to the outside. Triple H tossed Taker into the steps and then hit a pile driver. They made it back into the ring and Taker made a comeback. He landed Old School and a Tombstone to win.

Match 4. Ken Shamrock vs. Droz   Intercontinental Championship
Shamrock dominated Droz. He hit a belly-to-belly suplex. He locked Droz in a tarantula-type submission, but Droz broke out. About a minute later, Shamrock locked it in again and won.

Match 5. Mankind vs. Kane
Mankind busted Kane open with an inverted DDT. He then hit a back suplex. Kane chokeslammed Mankind through the announce table. Mankind recovered and landed a pile driver. Somehow, Mankind was able to lock in Mr. Socko through Kane's mask and won.

Match 6. Extreme Rules - Bret Hart vs. The Rock
Bret Hart brought in a kendo stick and hit Rock multiple times. Hart then landed a pile driver and went for a pin, but Rock kicked out. He then grabbed a chair. Hart busted Rock open with a bulldog. Hart is showing a ruthless side to him. Hart brought him back into the ring and locked in the Sharpshooter. Out of nowhere, Rock hit the Rock Bottom. After a back suplex, Hart got the win.

Main Event. Extreme Rules - Shawn Michaels vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin   WWF Championship
Michaels grabbed a guitar from under the ring as Austin pulled a replica title out from the crowd. After receiving multiple chair shots, Michaels landed the Sweet Chin Music. They went back into the ring where Michaels landed a neck breaker and a front slam. They went back outside where Michaels speared Austin through the barricade. After bringing in a ladder, Michaels hit a suplex and pin to retain the title.

Recap: The PPV had some quick matches, but some exciting ones, too.
