ROYAL RUMBLE, Year 1

Here we go!

Match 1. Eddie Guerrero vs. Chris Jericho
This was Eddie's match. He suplexed Jericho and then put him in a chin lock. He connected with a flipping leg drop and threw Jericho into the corner. Jericho got up and was caught in a roll-up for the three count. They will both be back for the Rumble.

Match 2. Undertaker and Triple H vs. Edge and Christian   WWF Tag Team Championship
All four men will compete in the Rumble match. About a minute into the match, Taker DDT'd Edge through the table. Triple H hit Christian with a spine buster. Later on, E&C hit Triple H with a double back body drop. Christian hit Taker with the Unprettier. Triple H came back in and hit Christian with a Pedigree to retain their titles.

Match 3. British Bulldog vs. D'Lo Brown vs. Val Venis   WWF European Championship
Val and Bulldog hit D'Lo with a double gut buster. Val then hit D'Lo with a half nelson suplex. After getting speared through the barricade, D'Lo began bleeding when Bulldog smashed his head against the turnpost. D'Lo got up and hit him with Sky High. Bulldog hit D'Lo with the running powerslam. Val clotheslined Bulldog and won.

Match 4. Goldust vs. Ken Shamrock   WWF Intercontinental Championship
Goldust hit Ken with a jaw breaker. Shamrock recovered and landed a release German suplex. Goldust set Shamrock in the corner and kicked him below the belt for some Shattered Dreams. Shamrock got up and unleashed a flurry of punches and busted Goldust open. They were then caught in a pin battle and after three attempts, Shamrock won.

Match 5. The Rock vs. Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels
Three of the greatest Superstars of all time. All three men will be in the Rumble match. Triple H walked down with a chair and hit both HBK and Bret. HBK and Rock went for a double suplex, but Bret reversed it into a double DDT. Later, Rock hit Michaels with a spine buster. He then hit him with a Rock Bottom. Michaels turned his attention to Bret and hit a Sweet Chin Music. Rock came back and hit some punches on Michaels. All three men were busted open. Michaels hit Bret with a diving fist and won.

Match 6. Mankind vs. Kane vs. Kurt Angle   WWF Championship
I don't know what Angle did to get in the match, but I'm pulling for him. Despite the outcome, these three won't be in the Rumble match. Mankind and Angle began bleeding after being hit with DDTs. Angle hit Mankind with an Angle Slam and a pin, but Kane broke the pin up at 2.5. Angle hit Mankind with another slam. Angle then hit him with a snap suplex and got the win.

Main Event. 30-Man Royal Rumble Match
The first two entrants were Farooq and Mark Henry. Henry quickly tried to eliminate Farooq, but no success. Number 3 was Rikishi. He stayed away while Farooq and Henry battled. Number 4 was Bradshaw. Farooq can definitely use some help. Farooq almost eliminated Henry. Number 5 was Bubba Ray Dudley. Bradshaw kicked Rikishi out of the ring. Bubba tossed out Bradshaw. Number 6 was D-Von Dudley. Let's see if the Dudleyz will fair better than the Acolytes. Henry eliminated Farooq. Number 7 was D'Lo Brown. We got two teams in the ring now. D-Von was eliminated by Henry. Number 8 was Eddie Guerrero. Eddie quickly got rid of Henry. Number 9 was Chris Jericho. Chris and Eddie had a quick match earlier in the night. Number 10 was X-Pac. All five stars fought in the corner of the ring. D'Lo was eliminated by Eddie.

Number 11 was Godfather. Eddie flipped Bubba over the top rope to the floor. Godfather eliminated Jericho. Number 12 was Goldust. Eddie hit Godfather with a brain buster. Goldust almost eliminated Pac. Number 13 was Christian. Pac turned the tables and eliminated Goldust. Number 14 was The Rock. Can he clean house and dominate the match? Number 15 was Shawn Michaels. X-Pac eliminated Christian. Eddie kicked Godfather out of the match. Michaels and Rock were a part of an excellent triple threat match. Eddie tossed Michaels over the top. Wow. Eddie has 5 eliminations. Number 16 was Stone Cold. Austin kicked Pac out of the match and went right after Eddie, but he held on. Number 17 was  Triple H. The Game landed a reverse neck breaker and back suplex on Austin. Eddie hit Rock with a brain buster. Number 18 was Big Boss Man. Triple H has some help from the Corporate Ministry. Austin was eliminated by Triple H. Rock finally eliminated Eddie. Number 19 was Big Show. The Rock was getting double teamed by Boss Man and Triple H. Show evened the odds, which allowed Rock to eliminate Boss Man. Number 20 was Billy Gunn. Mr. Ass went right after Show. Not a smart move. Rock reversed Triple H's attempt at a Pedigree.

Number 21 was Scotty 2 Hotty. Rock began bleeding after a Triple H bulldog. Billy Gunn eliminated Big Show. Scotty was eliminated by Rock. Number 22 was Grand Master Sexay. Triple H hit Rock with a huge piledriver. Number 23 was The Undertaker. Billy Gunn eliminated GMS. Gunn quickly had Taker on the ropes and then tossed him to the floor. Number 24 was Brian Pillman. Gunn clotheslined Triple H over the top. Pillman hit Gunn with a spine buster. Rock gave Gunn a taste of his own medicine with his own clothesline. Number 25 was Chainsaw Charlie. The Rock is a bloody mess. Number 26 was Matt Hardy. Pillman and Charlie had their way with Rocky, who has been in since No. 14. Rock countered Charlie and hit a Samoan drop. Number 27 was Jeff Hardy. Matt tried multiple times to toss out Pillman. Pillman countered and flipped Matt over the top rope. Pillman then kicked Rock off the apron. Number 28 was Bret Hart. Jeff almost eliminated Charlie. Number 29 was Edge. Edge made a beeline for Bret. Bret had Edge in the corner and eliminated him. Pillman took advantage and eliminated Bret. The last man to enter was Road Dogg. The final four were Road Dogg, Jeff, Charlie and Pillman. Not too happy about this. Dogg kicked Charlie off the apron. Pillman lifted Jeff over his head and eliminated him. Road Dogg won after he stomped Pillman off the apron.

Recap: Three of the four titles changed hands tonight. Kurt Angle came from the bottom and is now on top! Not happy that Road Dogg won the Rumble. But I'll figure something out.
