January Week 1, Year 1

It is now January, which means the Royal Rumble is four weeks away.

Raw

Match 1. Big Show vs. Viscera

These two behemoths went toe-to-toe. Viscera placed Big Show on the top rope. Viscera grabbed Show and landed a superplex. When the two men landed, the ring collapsed! The turnposts came out and the ropes were laying on the mat. The ref was knocked down. Viscera made it to his feet, but Big Show did not, resulting in a knock-out victory for Viscera.

Match 2. Godfather vs. Mideon

I interfered with Undertaker. He hit Godfather with a Tombstone, giving Mideon the win.

Match 3. Steel Cage - Kurt Angle vs. Chris Jericho

Angle tossed Jericho against the ropes and landed a hip toss. Jericho came back with the triple powerbombs. He then DDT'd Angle. Angle pulled Jericho down from the cage and landed a suplex. Jericho made it up the cage again. Angle tried to stop him twice, but Jericho knocked him away to win.

Match 4. Shawn Michaels vs. Big Boss Man

I controlled HBK. Michaels was walking down the ramp when Boss Man attacked him from behind. Boss Man brought in the steps and the match began. Boss Man hit Michaels multiple times with those steps. Michaels sent Boss Man flying to the outside. Boss Man went for his finisher, but HBK reversed it and then hit the Sweet Chin Music. Boss Man was almost counted out. HBK hit another super kick, but he kicked out. Michaels landed a swinging neck breaker and won.

Main Event. Undertaker and Triple H vs. Edge and Christian

This is a non-title rematch from the PPV. Taker busted Christian open by slamming his face against the steel post. Taker hit two Tombstones on Edge, one through the table and one in the ring, but he still kicked out. Two minutes later, Taker hit a third Tombstone on Edge and won.

Saturday Night Heat

Match 1. Gangrel vs. Grand Master Sexay

GMS landed a standing enziguiri and a falling neck breaker. He then busted Gangrel open with a bulldog. After a springboard legdrop, he hit the forward leg sweep and won.

Match 2. Scotty and Matt Hardy vs. Viscera and Bubba Ray

Test ran down and hit Bubba with a full nelson slam. Bubba went for a Bubba Cutter on Matt, but he reversed it and hit the Twist of Fate. Viscera came in and dominated Matt Hardy with a powerbomb. Scotty came in and hit Viscera with an uppercut. All four men were fighting outside the ring. Viscera made it back in and the ref counted Mat and Scotty out.

Match 3. Jeff Hardy vs. D-Von Dudley vs. Chainsaw Charlie

Mideon ran down and hit Charlie with a reverse DDT. Cactus Jack came from the crowd and attacked Mideon. Charlie hit Jeff with a DDT outside the ring and busted him open. They went back into the ring where Jeff hit D-Von with a Twist of Fate. D-Von landed a sit-out full nelson bomb to win. 

Match 4. Mankind vs. Edge

Kane was watching from the front row. Edge broke out of a camel clutch and hit Mankind with a flapjack. Edge hit the Downward Spiral, but Mankind kicked out and hit the double-arm DDT. Edge began bleeding after a running DDT. Mankind hit another double-arm DDT to win.

After the match, Mankind put his arm out for a handshake, but Edge slapped it away.

Main Event. The Rock vs. Kurt Angle
Rock and Angle brought their match to the outside. Rock ran towards Angle and hit a shoulder block and a swinging neck breaker. He then hit a gut buster. Angle recovered and caught Rocky in a roll-up. Angle then hit an Angle Slam. Rock got up and hit a Samoan drop to win.

After the match, Angle and Rock shook hands.

Recap: That was the first time I've seen the ring collapse like that. It was awesome!
