December Week 1, Year 1

There will be an 8-man tournament to determine the No. 1 Contender for the WWF Championship. There is one mystery participant. With their second loss since returning, the Road Warriors have retired. We wish them well.

Raw
Match 1. Ken Shamrock vs. Billy Gunn
Boss Man walked down and stood in Shamrock's corner. Both men were caught in a pinning battle. Gunn landed the Fame-Asser, but Shamrock kicked out. Ken locked Gunn in a sleeper hold. Shamrock caught Gunn in a roll-up, but Gunn countered. Shamrock re-countered and won.

Match 2. Test vs. Goldust
Goldust attacked Test from behind on the ramp. Neither man wanted to lose. They battled in and out of the ring, using the railing and steps to hurt each other. Goldust busted Test open with a bulldog. Goldust won after the Curtain Call DDT.

Match 3. Eddie Guerrero vs. Chris Jericho
Edge ran down about 30 seconds into the match and took down both men. After Edge left, they got into a pinning battle. Eddie speared Jericho through the barricade and won.

Match 4. Round 1 - Triple H vs. Stone Cold w/ The Rock
I wonder why The Rock is with Austin. The match moved to the outside where Austin hit a Stunner then a piledriver. Austin hit another Stunner. Triple H got up and hit Austin with his own finisher. Both men were bloody messes. They made it back into the ring where Triple H hit a spine buster and Pedigree to win.

Main Event. Round 1 - Kane vs. ???
Who is Kane's opponent? It's the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels! Welcome back, HBK! Can he upset the Big Red Machine and advance to the second round? Kane hit HBK with a chokeslam in front of the announce table. Later, Kane landed a side slam and a Tombstone to advance.

After the match, Undertaker walked down and stared down his brother.

Saturday Night Heat
Match 1. Tet vs. Bubba Ray Dudley
I controlled Bubba Ray. After hitting the bionic elbow and a Bubba Cutter, Ray busted Test open with a right hand. The two battled outside of the ring as Ray used a chair to beat down Test. Grand Master Sexay ran down and hit the sweeping facebuster on Bubba. Bubba landed another Bubba Cutter to win.

Match 2. Val Venis vs. Goldust
I controlled Val. Val quickly landed a northern lights suplex and a pin, but Goldust kicked out before one. Later, Val landed a tiger suplex and the Money Shot. Goldust caught Val in a roll-up, Val reversed it and got a near fall. Within two minutes both men were bleeding. Goldust connected with the falling neck breaker. Val recovered and hit a fisherman suplex with a pin to pin the champ.

Match 3. The Hardyz vs. The Acolytes
Grand Master Sexay ran down (again) and hit Farooq with the facebuster. Jeff capitalized with a Twist of Fate, but Farooq kicked out. Matt hit Bradshaw with a Twist of Fate and busted him open, but he kicked out somehow. The Acolytes made a comeback on Jeff. However, Bradshaw was too weak and received another Twist of Fate from Jeff as The Hardyz won.

Match 4. Big Boss Man vs. Big Show
Boss Man was able to take Show off of his feet. Show tried mounting a comeback, but Boss Man lifted him up for a spine buster. Boss Man continued with a shoulder tackle and a running knee smash. A couple of minutes later, Boss Man landed the tilt-a-whirl slam.

After the match, Viscera ran down and attacked Boss Man with a lead pipe.

Main Event. Eddie Guerrero vs. Chris Jericho
Eddie was in control for most of the match. They fought in and out of the ring. Eddie busted Jericho open with a spinning head scissors. He then landed two Gory Bombs and a powerbomb in between. Jericho was able to get up and lock in the Walls of Jericho. Jericho then landed a back suplex and won.

After the match, Jericho grabbed a chair and beat down Eddie.

Recap: Good to see HBK back, but it hurts to start off with a loss. What is going on between The Rock and Austin?
