July Week 3, Year 1

There will be a short, 2-week tournament to determine who will face Ken Shamrock at Badd Blood for the IC title. It looks like most of the main event stars took Raw off.

Raw

Match 1. Round One - Eddie Guerrero vs. Val Venis

Eddie placed Val on the announce table, but Val reversed it and DDT'd Eddie through it. Eddie busted Val open with a huge DDT. Val returned the favor with some right hands. Eddie climbed the ropes and connected with a frog splash. Jericho ran down and locked Eddie in the Walls of Jericho. Val took down Eddie and won.

Match 2. Triple H and Jericho vs. Mankind and ???
Who could Mankind's partner be? It's...Stone Cold! Why isn't this the main event? Austin and Mankind hit Jericho with a double hip toss and a double back drop. Triple H busted Austin open with a running DDT. He then hit the spine buster. He went for the Pedigree, but Austin reversed it. Mankind speared Triple H through the barricade. Mankind then locked used Mr. Socko on Triple H and won.

Match 3. Round One - Kurt Angle vs. Rikishi

I have no desire to see Rikishi as champion, so I controlled Angle for this match. Rikishi reversed a lot of Angle's moves early. Angle ran towards Rikishi, but he reversed it into a spinning slam. It took nine German suplex, three Angle Slams, and about 15 chair shots, but Angle eventually won.

Match 4. Billy Gunn vs. Jeff Hardy

Road Dogg attacked Jeff as he was walking down the ramp. Jeff recovered from the attack. He speared Gunn through the barricade. Gunn made it up and got into a pinning battle with Jeff. Gunn broke out and landed the Fame Asser to win.

After the match, Gunn grabbed a chair and hit Hardy.

Main Event. Godfather vs. Boss Man

I interfered with Bradshaw and attacked Boss Man. Bradshaw landed a powerbomb on Boss Man. He then went for the Clothesline from Hell, but Godfather got in the way and took the damage. Bradshaw landed the clothesline on Boss Man, but the match was thrown out.

Saturday Night Heat

Match 1. Steve Blackman vs. Gangrel

Bulldog ran down and hit Gangrel with a running powerslam. Blackman then speared Gangrel through the barricade. Gangrel was unable to answer the 10 count and Blackman won.

Match 2. Edge and Christian vs. New Age Outlaws

Edge and Christian have had the Outlaws' number in recent weeks. Road Dogg busted Edge open by bashing his head into the corner. Gunn kept Edge away from Christian by spearing him through the barricade. Gunn hit Christian with the One and Only slam to win. Looks like the Outlaws are building themselves up to get their tag titles back.

Match 3. Droz vs. Albert

Albert hit Droz with a running slam outside of the ring. Droz attempted a clothesline, but Albert caught him with a spine buster. Droz landed a sit-out powerbomb, but Albert kicked out and hit the Baldo Bomb to win.

Match 4. Too Cool vs. The Ministry

The Ministry hit Sexay with a double back elbow. Mideon then busted him open by stepping on his face. Viscera speared Scotty through the barricade and Mideon continued the attack, forcing him to be counted out.

Main Event. British Bulldog w/ Bret Hart vs. Big Show

Show landed a back suplex and the Final Cut. Bulldog came back with a high-angle suplex. He then hit the running powerslam, but Show kicked out. Show broke out of a camel clutch and went for the Showstopper, but Bulldog reversed it. Bulldog then hit another powerslam and won.

After the match, Bulldog put out his arm for a handshake, but Show slapped it away and left.
